Heading 3: Herd- Let's stay together!
Ostriches spend more time in herds than you'd think. Ostriches aren't always a lone wolf, they actually spend their time more in herds. These birds are all tough but the dominate male guides the herd. Along with who guides it, there aren't many birds in the herd there are normally only 22 birds in one of the herds. There are a little bit of birds in the herds but there are a lot of herds so it's not as little as you think. If the dominate male thinks that you guys are in danger he’ll do a loud scream like boo-boo-boo and that's how you know to get out of there. I think that's interesting. In addition, to how he tells them to come back if the predator comes to close the male will yell as loud as he can to intimidate the hungry predator. While they all travel in different herds they all like the same habitat. These ostriches love arid hot deserts and places like africa. Not all these creatures have the exact same features, but they all are in herds and are all ostriches.
